The Hougen HMD 925 Power Feed Magnetic Drill is the latest evolution of Hougen's popular mag drills. It is built on the platform of the HMD 904, so you get all the productivity and reliability of the exclusive Hougen motor, two-stage safety circuitry with safety switch LED indicator and lift detector.

·         This new Hougen power feed magnetic drill features heavy duty hole making capacity, using Rotabroach Annular Cutters to produce holes from 7/16" to 1-1/4" diameter thru materials up to 2" thick in power feed mode.

·         This new power feed magnetic drill is compact and lightweight - about 20% lighter than models of comparable capacity.

·         The feed motor, gearing and drive system are enclosed in the drill housing to maintain a compact profile.

·         The control panel also integrates Hougen's safety switch indicator light that visually alerts users to the possibility of non-secure magnetic operation.

The Hougen HMD925 Power Feed Mag Drill incorporates solid state circuitry that monitors and adjusts the self-feed action to continuously maintain optimum drilling performance throughout the entire cut, providing consistent productivity, long tool life and excellent hole quality.

The Hougen HMD 904 Magnetic Drill is the latest evolution of Hougen's popular mag drills. It keeps the important attributes of the HMD904's predecessor and made it better because:

• This new Hougen magnetic drill has a more powerful motor so you can drill large holes without stalling deep in the cut.

• The cost of magnetic drill motor wear replacement parts has been lowered by 1/3 over the old style motor.

• The new magnetic drill design increases the drill point breakaway to 820 lb.

• The magnetic drill weight has been lowered to just 27.5 lb.

• The magnetic drilling capacity is increased to 1-1/2" diameter with a 2" depth-of-cut.

• Hougen's new magnetic drill ergonomic handles improve operator efficiency.

• TWIST DRILL ADAPTER KIT
  A convenient kit for small hole drilling. 1/4" to 1/2" in diameter. Easily installs in the HMD904S without removing drill arbor and coolant system. Adapter accepts a modified 118° twist drill with a 1/4" flatted shank that secures in the adapter with a set screw.

• SWIVEL BASE UPGRADE KIT
  Take more time out of holemaking, when you convert your standard HMD904 to a swivel base magnetic drill using the 05757 Upgrade Kit. A swivel base makes precise centering of pilot with the holes center location quick and easy. (Upgrade limits depth of cut to 1-1/4")

• PIPE ADAPTOR KIT
  The kit lets you drill pipe and tubing
  with a minimum 3" diameter and some convex surfaces. Kits quickly attach to the HMD904S & positive non-slip positioning assures centered hole location.

Built for quick and easy holemaking, the HMD904S allows you to precisely line up the pilot with the holes center location. It uses a one stroke handle to lock and unlock the swivel base. Great for general holemaking but it is especially useful for horizontal or overhead drilling. Has 2" DOC and cutting capacity to 1-1/2". Can use HMD904 accessories for added versatility. Uses positive slug ejection. Comes standard with Hougen safety features and carrying case.

  the arbor away from the motor spindle.

The  Hougen Magnetic Drill HMD505 is a two-speed Magnetic Drill with quill feed design that eliminates gib adjustments and arbor support brackets/spacers for maintenance free operation.

The Hougen HMD 505 Magnetic Drill provides fast, smooth feed into and throughout the cut especially in deep hole drilling. Optional pressurized coolant system aids drilling in horizontal positions and feed handles can be switched to either side without tools.

Rear positioned controls are designed to improve accessibility and convenience.

On the Hougen HMD 505 Magnetic Drill the coolant bottle and carrying handle are removable leaving the base mag drill at a height of only 15" . Hougen's safety features, carrying case and safety chain are standard.
